Recent Progressive Use of Atomic Force Microscopy in Biomedical Applications

White lab - Material Research Centre organized the webinar entitled “Recent Progressive Use of Atomic Force Microscopy in Biomedical Applications” on 29th August 2022. The webinar was conducted in ZOOM platform. This webinar was attended by 96 participants including Postgraduates, Ph. D students, faculty members from across the Country. 

Dr. Sathish Kumar Ramachandran introduced the speaker to the participants and the lecture was proceeded over by Dr. Kumaran Shanmugam, Dean Research, Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology (Deemed to be University), India. He delivered the lecture on fabrication and functionalisation of novel AFM probes.  In his lecture, he clearly explained applications of various kind of AFM probes.  In addition, he presented many interesting data from his own research findings and cited other exciting literatures on application of AFM in Dentistry. This workshop had provided the insights on applications of AFM to the participants.
